They shouldn't have borrowed the "House Party" title.

This should have been called either: "Down To The Last Minute" or "Jon-Jon Harris' Day Off"

I agree, they had no right to borrow the title "House Party" for this movie, and I use the term movie very lightly.

Since I haven't seen any of the original films in such a long time, I decided to have a marathon. I bought the collection relatively cheap. Unknowingly, there was also a fourth and fifth installment included. I thought to myself, "Hey, they made more "House Party" movies!" Damn, I should have done my research.

I popped this turd into the player only to start out with some grown man faking an illness to get out of school. I knew just from the beginning that this was going to be nothing but 90 minutes of pure torture, especially considering the fact that it was shot in full screen (letterbox 4:3). That right there told me it never had a theatrical release.

This movie was bad, I mean "Birdemic: Shock and Terror" (2010) and "The Room" (2003) bad. The plot was obviously ripped straight from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" (1986). I never laughed, not even once. I couldn't believe they got Dorien Wilson and Meagan Good as part of the cast. Hardly anybody else in "House Party 4: Down to the Last Minute" knew how to act. There was nothing even remotely connected to the first three installments other than Immature (IMx) from the previous film.

I looked it up and found out that they intentionally used the "House Party" title in order to gain the most profit. Makes sense seeing as how calling it anything else would have been buried down the bottom of the DVD bin at the local Walmart.

I could never bring myself to watch this on account of everyone on the cover art looking so bored.
