shareI like a lot of the same films. Kind of slow, methodical character studies.
Someone mentioned La Meglio Gioventu which definitely fits the mold in the Italian equivalent. Some other films off the top of my head, include maybe Magnolia, The Assassination of Jesse James, and most Terrence Malick (my favorite director) films such as Tree of Life and Days of Heaven.
