The Vag is an Angel that Men could only Admire - The Moral of the Story

Good show, it deals with the vag in a very frank and unapologetic manner and is not overtly feminist. Ensler does obviously have a cause she is trying to benefit and shine some light on, Rape, and while it does not paint a picture of men as being on a whole evil, it does not flatter them at all either. It does though make women out to be completely angelic, the one instance that can be contrived as abuse by a woman in the whole show is instead spun to be an awakening of body and sole. Yet there is not one positive monologue about a man actually entering the vagina, in the HBO version there is however interview to this effect, the closest we get is Bob the "worshiper" of women, even he the "good one" never gets to enter the vag. He is the only positive male character in the entire show. So you got to ask yourself why has Ensler left out any monologues about women who share with there partner, whose vags love to pleasure their husband and in turn get pleasured by him, she had to encounter some of these women there were some on the DVD for heaven's sake. She treats the vag like a famous oil painting it is okay to look at in fact it is encouraged but no touching, unless of course you have made a painting yourself then occasionally a restoration may be necessary. While I respect the pride women have in themselves and their vags, I don't like how they paint a picture of the man as either unworthy of the vag or to hostile to properly handle it. That is my main problem with feminism the fact that in order to build them self up, women must nock down men. Now I realize through out history men have kept women down I just think that the modern man is a lot more sympathetic toward the modern women than vice versa. I emphasize modern man, a character that is not properly or fairly represented in this play.

Not to be crude but I admire the vagina quite a bit and have no fear of it. However, that admiration doesn't prevent me from penetrating one in particular every now and then.
