Better moive about James/Younger gang

This movie was pretty entertaining, but full of BS. It was an action/comedy in the mold of the final two leathal weapon movies about Jessie James, but if you really are intersted in seeing a much better more accurate moive about the James / Younger gang, rent "The Long Riders"

It stars David, Keith and Robert Carriadine as the Youngers, and James and Stacy Keach as Frank and Jessie James. A very underated Western with some great scenes. It also stars Dennis and Randy Quaid as another set of brothers and Christopher and Nicholas Guest as Charlie and Bob Ford. (who killed Jessie James)

Also, watch Jessie James with Tyrone Power and Henry Fonda as Jessie and Frank respectivly. A classic old move with 2 real old stars

I totally agree with your comment about the Long Riders being a much better film. Not having any knowledge of the historical facts about the James/Younger gang I dont know if it (The Long Riders) is more accurate, but it is certainly more believable.... and more entertaining.

I personaly think that the long riders is aquerate, but that this one should be watched with a wink of an eye.
For better timeline long riders is the one, also the actors are real brothers in real life.
But for a bit of humor, this one should be seen, because of the interaction between the actors...

I'm not a Colin Farrell watcher, but he was kinda okay in this movie.

I heatily agree with the Long Riders. You forgot to mention Ry Cooder's greay musical score for the film.
