How Does This Movie Compare To Brad Pitt's Jesse James Movie?

I have seen this one but not "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford"

I know they both involve the James brothers. Are the 2 movies at all similar? Do they follow the same plots?

the Pitt one is a serious drama, this one isn't. It's like comparing Seven to Dora the explorer.

LoL.

And for all Movie and Western lovers out there. It's definitely like comparing The Searchers to Wild Wild West!

As the others have said there is no comparison because they are of two different genres. But as I was watching this today it just made me want to watch the Brad Pitt one even more and more. It makes me respect that movie 1,000 times more than I already did.

I'm guessing you're favorite movie is Meet the Spartans and the definition of great acting is any young starlet in a modern day horror movie.

Like. (Because IMDb still lacks a 'like' feature)

"We fight and then we fucc, that's our thing."

It's a funny movie... at the expense of complete historical accuracy. As far as the quality, the other one is far more revered by movie critics, (not you), and historians alike.

This movie is more inaccurate than Tombstone.

It's like comparing Star Wars (this) to Manos: The Hands of Fate (Pitt).

reply

I suppose you could say that, in that this is as accurate of a portrayal of Jesse James' life as Star Wars is and that Manos: The Hand of Fate is the most accurate depiction of the character.
