Eihi Shiina!!!!

Okay, I'm only like halfway through this film, so I can't give a full review of it yet, but I love the way it reels you in so slowly. It took me a while to realise that I actually cared about these fictional characters and their lives.

Anyway, that's not the point. The point is, I recognised Eihi Shiina! Audition is one of my favourite films from Japan - so devilishy twisted - and Eihi played her role with suitable subtlety. I'm glad to see she has continued this acting style to this film and I hope she flourishes even further in her career.

I did not. What character did she play?

I thought I recognised her too, so I had to look it up on the internet to make sure.

She was Makoto's co-worker Keiko. He walked her home one night but she was found dead the next day. It's a shame, cause I liked her.

I am curious as to whether Eihi also played the waitress, the one Makoto said looked like an old friend.

You are right. You are damn right. Maybe that was her punishmnet for being such a "bad" girl in Audition

Thanks
