I'm glad to see people upset about the rape scene.

Men being raped is treated as such a joke in our society, even to the point of ridiculing the victims. Women rape victims get all the help and all the sympathy but male victims get laughed at and ignored. And all these "equal rights" feminist hypocrites are just as bad, they completely ignore and disregard male rape victims. It's time for all of us to realize that men are victims too, it's just that many of them are too ashamed or scared to come out and admit they've been raped. Wake up, people!

I am indeed.

But to be honest, with all of these discussions being carried out on the internet and contradictory statements being made, I am now, personally, at a state where I am simply AFRAID to have sex with anyone at all.

Because what if, what either of us do, gets misinterpreted and we land in trouble?

reply

To be fair, if discussions on the internet make you afraid to have sex, you weren't having all that much sex to begin with.

Let's be bad guys.

reply

Oh I never had sex with anyone at all.

That's true.

Believe it or not, I am 29 and am still a virgin, and I live with my parents still to boot.

I only get my sex education from movies as well as erotic movies.

I still respect and obey sex laws though, that's for sure. So I would never break them.

Nor have I thankfully not been a victim of any kind of sexual mistreatment at the hands of men OR women in my life yet. But more on that later.

Hence why I OCCASIONALLY wonder about stuff like this even if I have no disagreements.

Troll. Gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Much appreciated.

Troll? I told the truth.

It's over, son. You played your troll card too hard.

Let's be bad guys.

reply

Maybe it is, but in the last reply over here, I was indeed being truthful, yes I really am a virgin even though I'm 29.

Fine, call me a troll, I couldn't care LESS.

In this very far from perfect and very flawed world, including MOVIE world, who are the good guys and who are the bad guys if I keep hearing about how with a very serious matter like rape, that many even say is worse than MURDER, its always the SOCIETY that is to blame.

And don't these ordinary people have ANY sense of guilt or shame around this, as, for one, on the internet these days, there are way, way, WAY too many information telling how downright terrible the deed is, no matter who does it to whom. Don't these ordinary people know any better?

If so many people are NOT against it, who made it illegal and immoral then for all the good guys on Earth to debate intelligently about how bad it is, whether it is done to a woman or a man, or a man by a woman like in THIS movie?

So that means then with all the "rape is the worst form of unforgiveable offense" sentiments it only exists with the few and the other part of 9 billion people are what - the silent majority who at best don't care about rape being a serious offense and especially find it funny when a woman does it to a man?

And we have all heard and seen about how in the absence of justice, its OK to kill off in various violent ways male rapists, usually of women, but should any kind of similar principle be followed with women who rape men?

Something tells me that if one started advocating the same principles for the female offenders gender - even the most anti-rape sentimentalists would CRINGE in utter disgust, and to a lesser degree, we will understand that in life that way it is FAR more complex than these are the good guys and those are the bad guys.

I myself would probably kill myself out of shame if I ever had to side with an offender of this crime and blame the victim, I could NOT live with such thought on my conscience.

Come to think of it, I don't think we'll EVER live in harmony with each other.

P.S. I wonder - what was Nicole thinking, did it not EVER enter her mind that if she does a deed like that to him, she risks if not getting arrested then maybe hated for all eternity if not stoned to death by someone close to Matt or someone who finds out about it? Besides the money, what COULD have drawn someone of her caliber to do a deed so offensive that, for instance, and rightfully so, in a gender reverse scenario is what women call their worst nightmare? And not jsut because of the law?

Oh shut up

I don't know why you had to criticise women and feminists to make your point! Women also get treated badly when they've been raped, sometimes.
I know male rape often isn't acknowledged.
But apart from that, yes it's terrible. It makes me hate this film. He gets raped and it's not even acknowledged as rape within the film!
