Well it just goes to show once more that a great cast is NOTHING...

without a great screenplay.

"I was quite into sadism, beastiality and necrophilia then I realised I was beating a dead horse."

reply

Yeah - this one has both though. Although it does have to have a great audience. You suck!

reply

Totally agree...this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Terrible script almost competely devoid of anything clever or funny. Originality, yes, but then I can't imagine any competent screenwriter or director would think that a bale of hay in the middle of the road stopping a pursuit makes any sense whatsoever. The scene where the bunch of counselors go into town and apparently go on a cocaine/heroin/sex binge made any sense. Was the joke supposed to be that that whole thing, "Took and hour", as said in the dialogue? Beyond insipid.

reply

Hahaha wow, you must have a lot of trouble watching movies. Ever tried suspending your disbelief while watching anything? It's supposed to help while watching.

Yeah by the way the screenwriter or director thought that a bale of hay could stop a motorcycle because the movie is what we human beings refer to as a *beep* COMEDY FILM.

reply

Lol you are clearly not the audience for this film. The fact that you think the writer or director meant for the bale of hay thing to be taken serious, the fact that you didn't find the randomness of them going into town to do drugs (which is also another joke about "going into town" with these types of summer camp films) funny says it all: You don't have the right sense of humor for this film. Don't go bashing something because you don't think it's funny. Comedy is one of the more subjective types of film genres. Everyone can appreciate a well-made drama, thriller, action movie. But comedy, and oftentimes horror, are very very subjective.

reply

hahaha i am dying laughing just thinking of these parts of the movie....

I am surprised/so pleased with the hate for this movie made 13 years ago. Tons of people looking for a regular, paint by numbers 80s-esque summer camp comedy ending up with WHAS...love it

reply

WHAS is a great comedy. I've decided you can surmise if someone has a good sense of humor by whether they like WHAS.

reply

I liked it alot, I thought they did a great job creating the feel of the 80's and making fun of camp movies from that time period.

reply

Yes it's a very good cast many of those that make the cast good are at the start of their careers. Not as good as they are now.

Paul Rudd was so much better in dinner for schmucks

reply

Yeah, when I saw the cast list I thought "this might be worth watching", but damn, what a turd of a movie.

reply

I don't think the haters of this film understood the subtle humor. They need more "YOU MONKEY - LAUGH NOW" type of jokes.

reply

You're kind of an idiot though, so it's hard to take you seriously.

reply

Wow, just goes to show that you can never please everyone. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. I am usually extremely picky with comedies and hate most of them, and I thought for sure I would hate this one, but I found it to be quite funny. Even more funny than supposedly funny movies like The Hangover (which I hated), and similar ones like the National Lampoon movies (which I also don't find very funny).
