Curious coincidence?

**SPOILERS to JACOB's LADDER and SIXTH SENSE**

Did anyone notice that Stuart Little 1's writer, M Night Shyamalan, wrote Sixth Sense, which contained the twist that Dr Malcolm Crowe was dead all along. Bruce Joel Rubin, who wrote Stuart Little 2, also wrote Jacob's Ladder, which contains the twist where Jacob Singer was dead. I know you're probably going to hurl eggs at me for making such a stupid point...but I thought it was a funny coincidence.
