ur right, it is funny:) my french teacher showed it to us, before she figured out that it was rated r. i didn't think it was offencive either, and i'm bi.
sharesame thing happened to me, my french teacher showed it to our class (high school freshmen+sophomores) and it was really funny. It is R though so I hope the administration doesn't hear about it or she may be in truoble.

Watched it in french class as well, however the teacher knew the rating.
Enjoyed it quite a lot!
Thousands of years ago cats were worshiped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this.
This film was a total random discovery, caught it on BBC2 one night a couple of years ago, and really was pleasantly surprised. It's just such a likeable film!
Somebody wake up Hicks...
It was a random discovery for me too, one time I was renting a movie at the local video club and they were selling a package of "The Dinner Game" and "The Closet", it was very pricey but I impulsively decided to buy it... I didn't regret it, i've watched the two movies at least 40 times each...

I adore Daniel Auteil but wasn't really sure I was going to like this at the beginning - it grew on me as it progressed and, again, I came away impressed at the man's sheer range as an actor. Beautifully judged comedic acting - not too broad. Gerard Depardieu was also excellent, although we already knew he could do comedy.

I don't think many people could find this offensive. It doesn't portray gays badly. It portrays homophobes badly. The mentor is gay.
