Way back when, there was a TV series about two truckers; I think Claude Akins was one of them. In one episode they had a pink-slip bet with another trucker about who could deliver something to the Raleigh, NC, post office first. Well, I lived in Raleigh then, and I thought, "Oh, they're going to show off our beautiful, tall, shiny white, modern post office building downtown! I want to see this!" What they actually used for the Raleigh post office was a tiny, one-story, red brick building on the side of what might have been a rural road. Very annoying -- it makes Raleigh look like a podunk! Now, I realize that the budget and logistics of shooting a script can require a change in the original vision, but I still remember this example.
