Indians?

Ahem, but I believe "Native American" is the more appropriate designation.

Since the film is set in Canada, the corresponding term would be "First Nations". They are the indigenous peoples formerly known in Canada as "Indians" in the same way that "Inuits" were formerly known as "Eskimos".

Political correctness is such a wonderful thing.

I'm sure glad native americans and first nations spoke English. If they'd had their own names, that would have gotten really confusing.
