I Think This Director Has a Crush on the Older Sister

Seems so. She appearently is casting her in her next movie. That makes it 3 movies in a row.

Wow you must be right.

Since you're so insightful, care to give us your opinion on the meaning of life? You stupid @sshole

And that's all i have to say about that. For now.

^Nice, tough guy! Care to tell exactly how the OP is a "stupid @sshole"?

Well apparently you can't read. So I can't help you.

Actually, you can help me by cutting the macho sh*t and answering my question. Don't get me wrong; I'm not the OP's mom or anything, but I find random insults fairly common and I've always wanted to know the meaning behind them. So far, in this case, I have narrowed down my evaluation to 4 theories:

a) You are the actress's dad

b) You are 13 years old and your mom won't let you go to that party on Saturday

c) You know the OP personally

d) You are simply a d*ck, plain and simple

Help me out here, hmm buddy?

Don't mind, "papa_leaf", Life_Hurts.

He's probably just mad because his dream girl, Foxy Roxy, has other interests rather than him. he probably hoped to date her someday. I understand young teenage crushes. It happens all the time. ;)

He posts in almost every thread. And it's always the same tough guy/a-hole approach in response to anything critical of this film or its director. Something's definitely going on here; it's obvious. (Pointless and ridiculous; but obnoxious and obvious nonetheless.)

First of all i'm not trying to be "macho" or anything. Really think it's strange that you decided to say that. Looks like you're trying to launch a random attack on me.
By the way your attempt at humour (a,b,c,d) is redundant and fell flat on it's face. Same with Troy's. Not funny or original in any way.

Sorry, but if you read the first post it's clear that this person is being an idiot. So there's your explanation. My insulting them wasn't random. It is neither a,b,c or d.
What posesses someone to come to a board and post stuff like that? Why would anyone answer them seriously?
Do you think it was a good point that the OP made??
Obviously the director had other reasons than a "crush" for using the actress in more than one of her films. With comments as stupid as that do you expect people to answer them nicely, explaining that it might be the fact she is a good actress or something?
Stating the obvious to someone who was obviously just posting that out of boredom or to get a reaction. .
Well ha. ha. ha. Looks like they have some random people sticking up for them for them. Wtf? Unless you like to occasionally troll too?

I don't want to argue with you, I just seriously don't get why you're sticking up for the OP and ignoring the stupidity of their post in order to insult me. That's why I said you obviously can't read because you seem to have ignored the stupidity of their post but commented on my supposed stupidity.

And that's all i have to say about that. For now.

If you ask me, you seriously need to stop taking the boards so seriously. It wasn't an intelligent or useful comment on the OP's part, but certainly nothing worthy of name-calling.

I wasn't taking it seriously. What concerned me was that you appeared to be.

....not to mention he misspelled "apparently." ;0)

LMAO, that made my day

Clearly Quentin Tarantino has a crush on Steve Buscemi.

Clearly the Coen Brothers must want to make out with Johns Turturro and Goodman.

Any idiot can see that Woody Allen has the hots for himself, (didn't he cast and cast and recast himself in a dozen films).

Right? This is obvious to anyone... correct?

reply

hahaha, that was great;)

I think your right. I also think, judging from the 'making of' shown on the DVD that the filmmaker is some sort of radical feminist/lesbian as the theme of this movie seemed to be: all men are rapists. Yeah, there are teenage boys like the Italian guy in this out there but are they ALL that way? *beep*

reply

I'm almost scared to post. Yikes, but I believe a lot of directors/ writers use the same actors frequently. They have already worked with them. Know what they can do...etc.
Ex. M. Night Shyamalan - Bryce Dallas Howard

Francious Ozon - Charlotte Rampling and now Ludivine Sagnier

Woody Allen - Diane Keaton, but I guess he did have a crush on her

Ever wonder why the directer covers her face during the sex scenes?

She's probably embaressed that she wasn't as lucky in her life, as the kids were when she hired them to act in her movie.

By that logic Martin Scorsese really wants to stick it to Leonardo DiCaprio.

But then, I fully understand. I would really love to stick it to Leonardo DiCaprio as well.

And? She's fricken awesome.
