Song Question - Please help!!!

I know this movie came out years ago and I have the soundtrack but I recently watched it again on Lifetime Movie Network and there was a song that played when they brought Jeremiah home that is not on the soundtrack. It sounds like Me'Shell Ndegeocello but I can't be certain. The lyrics go something like 'so thankful...to see your face'. Franklin is holding the baby and sitting in the window while talking to him. Does anyone know the name of that song or the artist? I would really appreciate it.
