Yeah, that was messed up, but I felt his pain, though.

That man was doing everything he could to make a life for himself and his woman and his children, and he just couldn't get a damn break. Money is one of the main reasons why a lot of black families break up/become estranged.

When you look at how the system is setup for some people to get richer, and others to get poorer, you realize that racism/capitalism today is just as responsible for the decline of the black family as much as slavery was back in the day.

Or at least get him to pay for some of the stuff he wrecked. At the least.

H ewould have definently gotten one form me Frnaklin just pissed me off throughout the whole movie anyway it all strated with him getting mad at Zora for reacting to him telling her he's still married with 2 boys and never graduated high school well how i the hell was she supposed to react any normal woman would be betrayed with finding out that type of info especially after catching feelings. then when he met her friends and acted like a complete *beep* and eating the food with his hands and blamed his behavior on getting fired form work and then takes it out on her when all she wanted was too have fun with her friends. I could go on for days but if this film shows anything it shows that Franklin is just purely selfish and lack responsibilty for his actions and that zora was rather silly for putting up with it all and believing that her love could change him and make him a better person.
