Remake of 'Conflict'?

I just checked "Conflict" (Humphrey Bogart), but there is no mention of any remakes.
Also "Conflict" is not mentioned in "Movie Connections" in "Black Orchid".
It's basically the same story, only that Bogart was an engineer and not a doctor.

It has similarities, but not enough of them to make it a remake. The plot was not all that stunningly unique when it was used in "Conflict"...It would be a mistake to list it in "Movie Connections"...
