Yes! My co-worker and I were making fun of that yesterday. Our store has an Audrey Tautou section and these two DVD boxes are right next to each other.

I know this is years old, but I just went on an internet search about this myself. The fact that it's mentioned in so few places (and not even in the trivia section of imdb) that they're the same surprised me.
From what i can tell: yes, this is the american poster. A quick google search of the original french title gave me two other posters. this is the orignal french video cover art as seen from amazon:
