Amelie 2?

How come this movie is also known as Amelie 2? It's not really a sequel....is it?

reply

No. It was made first as well.

But "Amelie 2" is pretty damned funny.

Oh, thank you.

You've gotta love the gall of marketing men to retitle a film as Amelie 2 when (a) it's not a sequel (her character isn't even called Amelie) and (b)It came out first!

reply

People refer to the film as Amelie 2 because it is so similar. It is in many ways another telling of the same tory. Naturally no one American bothered to see it until after Audrey became well known for Amelie.

A German man named Wilmut called me and said that the lead actor of this movie, not actress, is a true French Salad Tosser. I was appalled to hear this and I stormed into Glenda's frontal shop on Madison and demanded this be looked into.

I still haven't gotten over the inner workings of Audrey Meadows.

Thanks for your concern,

That is hilarious. They blatantly lied to people to get them to buy it. The same way they titled "Broken Flowers" "Lost in Translation 2"
