doesnt this make more sense? new idea for next season...

so the Mole gets paid to deceive the other players and sabatoge their missions right? well they should pay him/her all the money that has been lost by the players during the missions. So if the Mole's sabatoge keeps 10,000 dollars out of the pot, then that money goes into the Mole's pot. i think this would motivate the Mole to do whatever he/she can to keep money away from the winner's pot because the better the Mole is the more money he/she will get

That's what I thought would make sense too but then I also thought that it means the producers would have less control...because the mole would have less incentive to be more subtle. Instead he or she may just get greedy.
Whereas if the mole is paid a fixed rate, then the producers can kind of give directions as to what the mole shoud do without the mole feeling screwed out of more money.
