Lone Gunmen on DVD

It's a good series. It really becomes good about halfway through the season. It's a shame it was cancelled.

It's been out for a while, about four years I think. It was an excellent series, and accomplished a lot in 13 episodes (well 14 if you count Jump the Shark, but I don't even acknowlege the existance of that travesty personally...)

It's a shame it got cancelled, I think it was just because the timing of it was all wrong. The ratings really weren't as dismal as FOX made it out to be - it had ratings as good as the early days of the X-Files - but it even if they'd not cancelled it then they definitely would have after 9/11 - it was very bad to question the government at all for a while there. In any case in 1993 FOX was willing to gamble a bit but by the time the lone gunmen came around they were cancelling series left, right and center even if they were doing reasonably well, they wanted everything to be as popular as the Simpsons.

Just picked it up in a Bargin Bin for $14.83, I did not see it when it aired originally , but am half way through and it is a great series, better then a lot of trash on tv these days!
