9/11 WTF?!?!?

Have any of the producers commented on this?

"Trees cause more pollution than automobiles." Ronald Reagan

reply

You know what's even weirder, the episode where they tried to remote control the airplane into the WTC, isn't even in the episode guide on imdb as the pilot episode even though it was.

reply

All of them have talked about this stuff already.

There's video interviews with CC and Spotnitz and others like Vince Gilligan on Youtube and other sites as well as magazine or blog interviews.

reply

Yes and I was wrong, that is the episode where it happens, and it's called "Pilot" ironically.

"Get busy living, or get busy dying."

Its also as extra material on the DVD's.

i watched x-files back then,
these geeks were boring to me whenever they appeared, i never payed attention to them.
and i found out about this episode this year via you tube - 15 years after 9/11

that is weird!
how come no one talked about it? mentioned it anywhere?!
no one commment it on my job - we discussed about tv shows all the time, nothing in the newspapers, films, series...

it's as if they time traveled back 6 months before the twin towers collapse and made this episode... :D
i have no other explanation.

I remember i made a comment back then that i watched film "fight club" 3 days after 9/11 with brad pit and there was similar scene in that film - skyscapers collapsing. that was weird also.

Fight Club ending

and now i see on google search - that was actually twin towers collapsing in fight club...

It was maybe they were kind of putting it behind them like it wasn't a coincidence they were really proud of?
Plus the show didn't go so great in the beginning although it definitely got a lot better toward the end of the run but of course by then it was too late and the show was cancelled. 
Everyone who sees that pilot episode now is a little freaked out by it.

reply

The ending of Fight Club blew up all the credit card buildings... in Delaware.

The world is like a stage to the elites and satanists who ruin lives in order to maintain power. Why do you think so many movies and shows have "legacies" and bloodlines that make people important, where you can be "the chosen one" in order to do something special? They are priming the public to believe that certain bloodlines/families on earth are inherently important when they are NOT. They just happen to have power right now, but doesnt mean they will forever.

Maybe all these coincidences are used to stifle critical thinking about the REAL event?

[X-file theme] someone just posted a SD X-Files + Lone Gunman torrent!

reply

This is crazy, but we also know the WTC was a target for terrorism for years after the 1993 WTC parking garage bombing in which the bomber was hoping to topple one tower onto the other. Fortunately for us, and the 50,000+ people working in those buildings during the daytime hours, the bomber did not know physics at all.

Unfortunately, on September 11, 2001--all physics were thrown out the window, and nothing like this has ever happened before or since.

reply

Frank Spotnitz, an executive producer of The Lone Gunmen, said: “I woke up on September 11 and saw it on TV and the first thing I thought of was The Lone Gunmen. But then in the weeks and months that followed, almost no one noticed the connection. What’s disturbing about it to me is, you think as a fiction writer that if you can imagine this scenario, then the people in power in the government who are there to imagine disaster scenarios can imagine it, too.”

reply

Following 9/11 US intelligence agencies actually hired scriptwriters to think up possible terrorist scenarios, no matter how bizarre or outrageous. 9/11 made them realize that they weren't capable of thinking 'outside the box'. They figured Hollywood writers might be able to think of threats that they hadn't considered before.

reply

Government workers are not creative. Writers/artists are wired a bit differently and know who to come up with new ideas.

reply

Robert McLachlan, director of photography on The Lone Gunmen, said: “It was odd that nobody referenced it. In the ensuing press nobody mentioned that [9-11] echoed something that had been seen before.”

reply

people actually care about these 3 losers? I thought their 15 mins was up.
