Probably Mulder's ego causing him to hallucinate.

How did they explain the dead bodies ?
surely there were three dead bodies in the coffins during the military burials that were recovered after their exposure to the deadly virus !! Not to mention they were dead beat bankrupt and inactive for almost a year before.
anyway can't worry to much about it since I'm pretty sure I'm never going to read the comic books, for me X-Files was a TV show /end.

I just found that out yesterday. I went to the local comic store that I hadn't been to since I was a kid and was surprised to see X-Files comics and had to buy every issue. After reading them and seeing the Lone Gunmen back was awesome and even better when I went online and found out the comics are considered canon. So if a 3rd movie or the X-Files ever returns to tv, we will see the Lone Gunmen return.

Should have left them dead, they had an epic ending.

This is not the greatest signature in the world. This is just a tribute.

Them having faked their deaths makes no sence in the first place. Its not like they had any enemies and hardly no one took them seriously and as it turned out, these "MIB" obviously made sure they where fed false information, if you believe Morris Fletcher, who took credit for one of the front page stories on their news paper.

I agree sainter, this comic just seems to want to undo everything that happened during the show.

RAWR!

Obviously they have decided to bring The Lone Gunmen back to life in the 10th season of The X Files.
Happens Feb. 15th in the episode Babylon: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4549946/?ref_=ttep_ep5

After having watched the specific episode, it turns out that Mulder only imagined them.
They where not alive, so they obviously DID die in the X Files episode Jump The Shark.

They are dead I am afraid.

Carter always said no one ever really dies on The X Files!
LOL!

It's just a shame that Carter is so atrocious at coming up with explanations for their resurrections.

Also, what a terrible waste of TLG in Season 10 (TV) of the X Files, the drug trip scene was the perfect opportunity to have them communicate with Mulder from beyond the grave yet they were essentially nothing more than set dressing in the episode.
