Dragon land.... their imagination??
I have a theory, that Dragon Land may not be an actual place in which the children go to. I think that perhaps they just imagine going to Dragon land. Anyone else have any other theories?

If it is, then this show has no value whatsoever. Any lessons they learn are just imaginary lessons and thus not important at all.
I hate things that are like that, don't you?
Maybe Dragon Land is in another universe, outside our solar system.
shareNo, I think it's another universe- similar to the world of Narnia. Besides, how could the children use their imaginations to teach them things they didn't already know?
If I could do that, I would just go to Imaginary Land to learn the secrets of college math!
LOL! "...the secrets of college math!" That's funny!
Oh, and the post by "olling" is me, apparently before I changed my username.
In the context of the show, it's real. Emmy and Max have carried items back with them from Dragon Land (a Dragon Scout uniform given to Emmy, for instance.)
Another thing -- Max and Emmy (and Enrique) aren't the only ones who have a dragon scale. So does Captain Scaliwag.
Besides, I hate the idea of it all being imagination, and refuse to buy for The Polar Express either. If it's all a dream, then it minimalizes the importance of the achievements of the other characters.
Dragon Tales is the imaginary place for children who will never grow up just like Neverland. My point is it okay to be a kid for awhile as long you will never get too old to dream big.
