fake chest on captian liberty??

for captain liberty..
was that a fake chest on her costume?
it looked wierd, the color seemed off

reply

Good eye. The costume was auctioned off on Ebay, and the picture of the costume shows the flesh-colored insert. Visit the photo at;

lol i was just watching the tick and i suspected that she had a fake chest myself. wasn't the color for me, but rather the fact that they just never moved. i thought to myself...no breast is that firm lol. then i came to these forums hoping to find the answer and now i have it lol.

reply

I got a theory as to why they never moved, which could possibly mean they are real. The shape, or the cleavage is rather weird looking, and I don't think it's all that common for it to look like that, but it could be the fact that they are so pressed against her by the friggin tight costume, that they are simply stationary as a result. But that doesn't mean they couldn't be fake.

reply

But the description says: "Burgundy velvet body suit with gold/burgundy shoulder pieces(attached by Velcro) and a see-through, star-shaped panel, framed by a gold rubber star."

reply

The Captain had two costumes- one for the pilot, and a second for the remaining episodes. Just like Batmanuel. It was Liberty's second costume that was auctioned off on ebay and I am sure the panel is not transparent but flesh-toned. I almost won the thing.

As far as the pilot goes, you may have seen all you imagined you saw.

reply

After viewing a few episodes of the show, I agree with Stiever. Rather than focusing your arguments and attention on the Captain's chest, review the pilot and you'll notice that the maroon/crimson body of her costume is of a material that looks more like vinyl or plastic or skin tight rubber, and in the episodes after the pilot the body material looks like velvet. As for her bosom, it appears to me that the "chest star" is shaped differently and looks transparent in the pilot episode but is covered with a "flesh colored" material under the star in subsequent shows. So, they are two different costumes.

reply

Wow nifty pix. The upper part of the suit is on a gold mannequin, so if the star was really just clear plastic, you'd be seeing the gold mannequin color showing through it, so it definitely has something flesh-colored stretched across it. It may have been slightly translucent, though.

reply

Those are her breasts. First of all that picture doesn't show the cleavage. Second other better pictures show the costume on a white mannequin and it shows the mannequin through the chest.

If you pirate media, you do not get to have an opinion on it.

reply

from the picture it looks to me like what you are seeing is a part of the manaquin but then again it is hard to tell

reply

I wonder if they modified her uniform after the pilot episode...

Of course, I wasn't sittiing there looking for this, but at the diner, after The Tick & Arthur saved Jimmy Carter, you could almost see part of Captain Liberty's nipples. I seem to recall that this was more visible on the broadcast version, but it is still slightly visible on the DVD. I don't know if they digitally covered it up a bit, or not.

reply

Wathever...captain Liberty is a very Hot Woman,in her costume she looks very hot.. prety legs..crotch..Nylons..

reply

Yeah, you can still see her areola. How did they miss that when they were filming?

reply

She actually did some sexy photos posed on a motorcycle. In one of the episodes that nearly got her fired from her secret government job. Liz Vassey is absolutely gorgeous and quite funny in a bitter way.

reply

I agree, and after lots of research, and pause and rewind on my dvd player I come to the conclusion that;
1. FACT: The star is see-through, it has a slight fleshy tone, almost nylon looking material streched across the star.

2. FACT: You can see a bit of the nip in the pilot episode, going off this that is her actual breast size, no "additions."

3. FACT: Captain's breast size doesn't grow at all, giving evidence that she has nothing "added."

4. MYTH: Her and Batmanuel have a "secret move" called the motorboat.

5. MYTH: The Immortal died because he found out they were real.

reply

I think it's pretty obvious that episode 1 they were the real deal and they probably found it unmanageable as far as the nips not poking out (ie the aforementioned areola)and decided to go prosthetic after the filming had been done.
If you're not looking for it, you really don't notice the arealo issue which is probably why it aired that way.

reply

Looked see-thru to me.

reply

I definitely saw plastic, and assumed it's so previous boyfriends don't figure out her secret identity! ;)

reply

No, that's all her. She mentions the myth of the phony chest plate on her twitter:
