Blethyn's Evil Aggie (Spoilers)

I just saw this movie last night on IFC and I have to say that this is probably the most evil and calculating Brenda Blethyn character. She really likes to muck it up for everyone like her husband, daughter, Salima and John Truscott.

She could have been a bigger person like her daughter and let her husband go with his "native woman", but no, she went to him and abandoned her daughter. Then later she forces her daughter on a man who obviously loves someone else, thus starting the whole thing over. Then has the nerve to tell John "don't ruin it for another generation" or something like that.

My favorite life ruiner was sending out Neville to hunt John and Salima down. But I figured, she never liked the guy so she was probably sending him to his own death.

I agree she is such an evil cow in this and what did she mean "ruin another generation", to be honest I was kinda wishing someone shot her with a poison dart or that her husband grew a set and stood against her. Seriously someone should have told her to worry about her own marriage and leave everyone else alone.
