Did we absolutely need all of the scenes with Link’s wife, the Kid + the captain, and Commander Locke?

Besides maybe Commander Locke’s scenes, all of this stuff felt like filler, and more time could have gone to Neo, Oracle, and the machines etc.

I thought those scenes were ok. I could have done without the big dance party scene in Reloaded.

Yeap, that party scene was disgusting, proved Smith right about humans and their smell
