Did Martyn commit suicide or did Liz push him?
I'm not sure....

If you watch that part again, we see Liz put the key into Martyn's pocket before pushing him over. Later, we see when the police found his body, they saw the key inside his pocket, and so concluded that he committed suicide because of guilt feelings.
It would be interesting, though, to know how a 100-pound girl can throw some guy who is not even leaning over the rails into the water below.
well Martyn didn't seem to be much of a strong, athletic guy. also, he is seen kneeling down, in a position where he's basically on his tip toes, and there is no barrier in front of him that would stop him from falling into the water (there is a rail of course, but nothing under it). it would actually be very easy for her to push him into the water. all she had to do was nudge him, and he would go right into the water. guy obviously wasn't very athletic as he could not swim to save his life; i mean the stream/river/ect didn't seem that bad.

Athletic or not, it's not a matter of being able to swim or not being able to swim. Undercurrents can be very powerful, and have been known to pull the best of swimmers under. If you ever see a sign near a body of water that says, "No swimming; strong undercurrents." Heed that warning.
But yeah, she pushed him, and yes, it's very plausable that she could do so. As was stated, he was squatting down and rocking back and forth, grieving over everything that happened. One good shove and he'd be in the water and drowning quickly because he was caught offguard.
Yup. I'm sure she pushed him when he was crouched over like that. The space between the railings seemed large enough to get the job done.
