to get a more grim goonies kinda feel to this movie? Something made me think i was gonna see teens exploring down in old tunnels for fun. Then things make a bad turn and end up getting lost and end up trapped for eternity. I guess it was alright though. Just expected a bit of adventure :/.

I was surprised at how small the area underground was. I expected these old bunkers to have tunnels and many areas to explore with many rooms. But perhaps the film's budget didn't support that and it doesn't sound like the story really needed it anyway.
Well it was just a fallout shelter in case of a bomb raid during the war. So it wasn't there as a long term shelter. Just to hide in while the Luftwaffe dropped bombs on the area.
