In answer to your question. The Hard Case is a short 20 minute film. That was made in 1995 by Guy Ritchie.It is supposed to be what inspired Guy Ritchie to make Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. I have actually seen The Hard Case on Channel 4 late one night around 2000. The film revolves around four male late twenties early thirty somethings. Who have all coughted up money for a big poker game later that night. The group buy a steel briefcase. (Hence the title.)Later that night @ the poker game the group loses all their cash @ the poker table. I think by the other group of lads @ the table cheating? The lads who have cheated @ the table puts their new found winnings in a identical steel brief case as the others. As the "cheaters" are about to leave the four lads ambush the "cheaters" car & a big fight breaks out. In the mists of this fight one of the lads smatshes the "cheaters" back car window & accidently drops their empty steel hard briefcase next to the "cheaters" full steel hard briefcase. The lad accidently picks up the full case. unawear of this the lads make a getaway after the fight has finished. One of the lads opens the case. And to all the lads suprise they relise what has happened. End of film.
