dumbest concept ever

so he saves the VP, kills most of the bad guys, and gets in trouble with the Secret Service?

I know it's a Seagall flick and that we are generally supposed to suspend disbelief when watching a movie, but really? The writers could've done a little better than that. Although if they're writers for one of his movies, maybe not.

It IS dumb. But that's kinda why I like it! I saw it when it came out at the cinema and I kinda have a soft spot for it as I still enjoy it 14 years later.

He never got in trouble for saving the VP or killing the bad guys. He got in trouble because he deliberately disobeyed orders from the Secret Service and went on the bridge.
