No, there are only gold feathers in the GBA version. There is one in each level. They are used in the Expresso racing game to power up his abilities such as speed, power, flight, boost. The races are side scrolling games with a little bit of free movement for up and down. These races are not in the super NES game. The feathers cannot give you new levels, but for each race you win in each land, Cranky will give you one DK coin. I found the races pretty fun.
