Mighty Man and Yukk

Holy mother of god I remembered this show and can't find it anywhere (just a couple of spanish dubbed episodes on youtube).

I am in hysterics watching it...why oh why does Brandon pause in the middle of a sentence and blurt "Buh-be-booh-booh" every couple of minutes ?! I swear to god I thought NOTHING could be odder and more random then Hula-Hula's weird pedantic constipated grunting dialogue with Plasticman, but this is even better!!!

"...Of all the Thompson Gunners, Roland was the best..."

Mighty Man and Yukk is more than likely one of the orphaned RSP children that has been sent to be the step-children of the Hanna Barbera collection. It will probably see release from the Warner Archive at some point in the future....but more than likely towards the end of the spectrum of the shows they have to go through, as after all, everyone who has sceen some of this show knows why others should get priority lol.

I refuse to argue on IMDB until the general populous actually uses their brains

Mighty Man's secret identity was he was supposed to be a lounge singer, so he would do that bit to give some impression that he was a singer, while he fought bad guys?

Without a doubt, the strangest catchphrase bit I saw on a cartoon was on the mid-70s Tom and Jerry cartoon where they met a villainous cowboy called Black Barney.

He enters the scene, talking to himself, saying something to the effect, "I'm going to find that treasure, or my name isn't Black Barney. I repeat, Black Barney."

I think Tom and Jerry had been warned to watch out for a Black Barney when they were given the treasure map.

The deal was when Black Barney said his name, he made a point of rolling on the L.

"Or my name isn't Buh-luh-luh-lack Barney. I repeat, Buh-luh-luh-lack Barney."

The only two times it was said in the entire cartoon, so kids were supposed to pick up on it from there.
