How on earth can anyone watch this rubbish? 0/10 from me...

Anyone?

I'm absolutely disgusted how this was even turned into a movie? I'm 20 minutes into it and I'm schocked at ALL the foul language, nudity and overall I see no storyline whatsoever...plus trashy actors + appauling acting (if one can even call it that). The camerawork is shaky and annoying too. This by far is not a piece of art but just pure trash...

Can't believe ppl actually thought this film was in anyways good. 7.1 / 10?? Are you kidding me?

I remember once when I rented this movie on VHS tape 15 years ago. I'd seen it before so this would have been the second or third time I'd rented it. I put it into the VCR and hit play and I was annoyed to find that the last person to rent it hadn't rewound it. Remember when that would happen? Remember how annoying that was?
I quickly realised though that the movie wasn't over. They hadn't stopped it at the credits. They'd stopped it during the second rape scene. I had to laugh as I imagined the previous renter stopping the tape in such a disgruntled huff that they refused to rewind it. Then I rewound it myself and watched it. Some time later I bought my own copy on DVD which I still have. Every single time I watch it the hair still stands up on the back of my neck during the ending scene as Song For Shelter reaches its crescendo and the final sentences of the kids are displayed on the screen.

I think people over-react to that whole 'take 60 secs to rewind" thing, actually.....

it is or was stupid to let the video store have an opening to jam you up with another charge....

It's based on a true story. Not meant for entertainment. I remember this being on the news and the media kept calling them the Broward 7.
