the puppetry might be good, yes, but his character, his voice, and the idea of him reaching into the front of his pants to combine words....that was just not a good idea. He's unintentionally very creepy and icky, they should have thought about this one character a little more before they put him on screen. He is the ONLY thing I don't like in "Between the Lions"; the rest is top notch!
shareI don't think kids see that as weird as adults might, and I'm 23(no kids just like PBS) and your post is the first time I ever thought about that. I mean you do make a good point and I can't belive I've never thought about it, but for the kids that its made for they're still in the innocent phase were stuff like that doesn't really sink in they just see it as funny.

No, no no no, when I watched this as a kid he was the only thing about the show I didn't like.
He bored me, scared me, and creeped me out and I didn't know why.
Now I know why. Ugh. So weird!
