Anyone else like this show?

This show is really great. I watch it with my 3 year old every day and make a tape for him to watch when Sesame Street is on so he won't be subjected to that evil Elmo.
These lions are cute and Cleo and Theo are funny. Smarmy Marmy sounds a lot like Joan Cusack. Does anyone else think that?
The skits they have like "Sam Spud" is funny, also.

Most kids don't even know who Dr. Ruth is. I remember her having her show back in the early 80's and that was LONG before any of the children were born. So, the only way children are going to know who she is, is if you told them. Were you planning on doing that? If not, then who cares if her day job is being a sex therapist?

My Dad likes Cliffhanger and my Mom likes Arty Smarty Pants (1 word or 2?) I used to watch it when it was on in the afternoon because I like puppets. I think they're extremely expressive for puppets. Like that time Cleo had a cold, and her eyes were red. When else does that happen?

I never learned to read by phonics, so I like watching it to see how other kids learn to read (I actually learned to read by memorizing words from Beginner Books)

I don't understand all this Elmo bashing? Could someone please explain this to me as my daughter loves Elmo and I don't understand how he is corrupting her into a juvienile delinquent.

(Disclaimer for those lacking a sense of humor: The statement about delinquency is a tongue in cheek comment, please don't take it as an attack.)

I used to watch it a lot when I was a kid. I loved "Clifhanger," but "Dick and Jane," annoyed me. Probably because of the way they treat the chicken, or whatever it is.

Heh, not sure what episode was on today, but it was themed around food poetry.

And Theo was all nervous about reading this poem called "The Silence of the Lambchop." I thought that was funny. XD

I used to watch this show all the time! Of course, I already knew how to read...that's one of the reasons my parents told me to stop watching it...but I watched it again the other day at my sister's house, and all the good memories washed over me, and I really need to watch it some more before school starts.

Dude, my favourite thing on this show has got to be that one song he does with the dog, frog, bog rhyming words and stuff. lol he's like playin guitar and stuff and I swear at first I thought it was bong instead of bog, but no. Lol it's a good song.
