Will this ever be on DVD?

I could track down a laserdisc on eBay or even settle for an ancient VHS copy, but it would be too expensive and the quality (particularly VHS) would be too poor.
I'm willing to bet this documentary was very influential for horror film fans of the eighties so there'd probably be a significant demand for it so why is this not on DVD?

I just bought a DVD-R of the German DVD for "The Burning" and watched the Savini documentary. It's a very nifty, enjoyable and informative portrait of Savini which gives you a lot of interesting insight into both the man and his work.
