plagiarized

Documentary "Writer" Brooks Peters practically cut and pasted Robert Martin's work from the pages of Fangoria. Martin's resentment of this, and the fact that he was not invited to take a hand in the writing, was the beginning of his deep dissatisfaction with Fangoria's publishers. He was similarly resentful of the publishers' refusal to allow his involvement in the later "Fangoria Film" series and the early Fangoria conventions. That's why he quit the magazine, which subsequently ran straight downhill as its cover price spiralled upward (Martin continually fought against cover price hikes during his time at the mag).
