WOULDN'T HE BE IN A COMA IN REALITY?

I WAS WATCHING THIS MOVIE ON FX 11 DAYS AGO AND WHEN IT GOT TO THE PART WHERE DIZZY BEATS UP CONNER HE KNOCKED CONNER OUT LIKE FIVE OR SIX TIMES IN A ROW. NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG I KNOW THAT IT IS JUST A DUMB COMEDY FILM, BUT IN REAL LIFE IF SOMEONE GOT HIT HARD IN THE HEAD LIKE CONNER DID SO MANY TIMES WOULD THEY NOT EITHER HAVE A HORRIBLE CONCUSSION, BE BRAIN DEAD, OR IN A COMA. I MEAN DIZZY DID NOT EVEN GIVE CONNER THE TIME HE NEEDED FOR HIS HEAD TO CLEAR UP BEFORE HE WOULD KNOCK HIM OUT AGAIN. JESUS, THE POOR GUY WOULD REGAIN CONSCIOUSNESS AND STILL BE GROGGY FROM THE FIRST HEAD WOUND AND DIZZY WOULD WACK HIM AGAIN. SO HOW WAS IT IN THE NEXT SCENE THAT CONNER WAS UP AND MOVING AROUND LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED EXCEPT FOR A BANDAGE OVER HIS NOSE. JUST WONDERING.

Yes thirdjohnc, you're right. It doesn't make sense. No sense at all. I thought it was a fine piece of cinema until that happened. Still... it had wonderful plot development and every piec of dialogue rang true.
...sorry... YES THIRDJOHNC... THERE'S NOW WAY THAT GUY COULD HAVE SURVIVED THAT CAUSE ITS SO UNREAL WHEN ALL THAT STUFF HAPPENED TO HIM AND ITS HARD TO BELIEVE IN THESE MOVIES. YOU KNOW?

I'm not sure. I'm gonna give my family physician a call first thing in the morning and discuss this serious issue with him and get back to you before the week is through. Don't worry. We'll get to the bottom of this.

Well I'm not a Doctor, but I am a nurse. In reality any number of things COULD have happened, ranging from just as it was depicted in the movie(not likely) to Conner ending up dead, (somewhat more likely, but not a sure thing) to anywhere in between. Head injuries are tricky that way.
