I saw this film on cable and it reeked.

I've seen some bad movies but this one is the top. Was it that bad on purpose? Did anyone making this film have any idea what a steaming pile they were making. This film should be purchase just so you can burn it. and the director must have been on crack. the actors in this stinker didn't finish the course on acting at the learning annex. I could go on and on about this horrible piece of crap but what's the point. No one will ever sit thru it. I couldn't.

What are you talking about? This movie was pretty good, many well-written and sometimes funny lines, and the actors were better than average for an independant movie.

On the DVD there is a good making-of documentary which also was very good. I guess when you saw it on tv you got annoyed and confused by the plot (and was probably interrupted by commercials too?).

Fortunately, with DVD's you can rewind and watch a scene again if it doesn't make sense the first time. I did not have to do that, but I guess not all people understand this movie the first time they watch it, since it demands a lot of attention from the viewers.

Also, it didn't have any shooting or gore, which probably dissapoints the average 'action-movie' fan. If you want action and gore, go watch 'Dawn of the Dead' or something like that instead, if you like good character-developement, fine (under-rated) actors, and great dialogue, 'The Gristle' is for you.
