wow somethign strange...

when i was young (about 6) when i was new to the game, i think i found a cheat somewhere, or a glitch. When you complete that nite time level in the first part of the map (i think its the first level) i continued on that thinkg where u walk to the next level and as i passed the old mans house and was going around that corner beafore you enter the cave whichcontains the level right beafore you enter the first underwater level. i think i pressed every sngle button because i was convinced that he would walk off the path and into that jungle section (which wasnt possible). well when i did so, something happend and i begun a really interesting level. it consisted of something like a tropical reign forest with a pinkish or colourful sky and in one section you had to sming on vines and try not to get snapped by this snapping crocodile thing. was really awsum, iv tryed so many times whenever i go on these days (16 now) to try and d it agan but it never works. has this ever happend for anyone?

You know now that you mention it I remember when I first got the game my friends and I would gather together about a party of 9 or so. We would all take turns and play the game. I recall that this was the first time we were playing the game and something similar happen. This was back in the late 90s and I can’t remember exactly in which would this happen but there was a shortcut from the first two levels to near the end of the world. Since we were new we thought this was part of it but once we lost and were sent back to the first world and level again we tried numerous times to do the same thing of skipping levels but it never happen. After beating the whole game several times one of my friends while we were all just having a nice fun party and stuff he was able to do something similar again! But he swore he had no idea what he had done. So I think that there is some type of shortcut in the SNES game. I got the game again just a few years ago and went on the internet to find that cheat code but there are no records of it. So I don’t know maybe the game it self had some type of defect that with the right buttons you could skip levels as an error. Who knows but yes it happen to me twice.

pressing a+b while walking on the paths of the first world causes you to skip a few levels.

So all these years later, I set up the old super-nes again having not played it in over a decade. Finally managed to pass a section i never could when younger and worked out that the mysterious level was 'Orangutan gang'. The combination of buttons i pushed must have skipped a bunch of levels like others have mentioned and put me on this level. Mystery solved :D
