The one who played Micky.
Something Lohr had lovely lips. Especially when he was singing. "All of Your Toys"
That was a squeeeeeeeeee moment for me and I'm really old. *45* but heck he is a lovely man.

He was good, except the hair was all wrong until latter 1967.
shareYes, Aaron Lohr is definitely hot!! If you listen to the Real Mickey Dolenz's comments throughout the movie, he keeps saying "Wow! Where did they find that kid?" "Where did they find that good looking kid?" You can tell he's highly amused and pleased at being portrayed by such a good looking guy LOL
Really.. I have to tell anyone that can get their hand on the DVD.. get it.. listen to the actual Mickey Dolenz's commentary.. He's a trip and a half!!! You'll be cracking up through the whole movie at his out-of-control goofiness..
Aaron Lohr is definitely a lovely guy, and I think he did a fine job portraying Mickey, but I just wish they'd done a better job in casting someone who LOOKED like Mickey. Aaron is part black (and I think it shows) and is super fit and muscular. Mickey is neither black nor muscular, lol.
*There's nowhere you can be that isn't where you're meant to be [it's easy]!*
Yes, there were frequent comments on the show as to him being scrawny or skinny. And the hair...Micky was made to straighten his naturally curly hair at the beginning of the show, which is why he had that odd, unnatural looking 'do. Also, during the 'Not Your Stepping Stone' scene, Lohr is the only one with his shirt untucked, and I think it's for a reason...call me an old perv, but, he was...uh...'excited' while he was rolling about on the stage.
shareI thought the guy who played Micky was great. He did great acting and he looked like him to me. Great casting in this movie.
shareGoodness! I agree with you on that one...I loved the segment where he sang "All Of Your Toys".
shareI always play that part over and over. I love the song. They did a good job with casting this movie and with not trying to make the actors/scenes exactly like what we know regarding the real Monkees. Putting their own little twist on everything, yet giving a lot of real information about The Monkees seemed like a wise choice.
Mag, Darling, you're being a bore.
