It's very dissapointing that the DVD release is in fact cut. However there is additional scenes in it that were NOT in the original VH1 Broadcast. The DVD is labeled PG13 for Drug Content, but they cut two or more drug refences out entirely. Paul McCartney is virtually not in the DVD release at all; in the VH1 version he is seen talking to Micky (with a joint in his hand-OH NOOO!!!!!!) about how meaningless fame is.
The concert scene shows an extended live performance with the 'fake' Micky. All in all it's VERY dissapointing. The VH1 version is better.

However on VHS versions I have to cut out the opening. Quite a slap in the face, and a waste of valuable time.

I have the one that aired on VH1 on DVD.
