Is it jsut me, or has anyone else gotten the letter from Lucca to Kid, given to Kid by Luccia? the nasty german woman? In there, she talks about someone finding her, and refers to him as Janus. I'm thinkin Kid is Schala from the first game... it kinda makes sense, with here having her pendant, too. Any thoughts?

No offense, but did you pay attention to what the spirit of Lucca said just before the fight wiht the Time Devourer? Kid is a "daughter-clone" (I think that is the term she uses) of Schala. At some point she was able to make contact with the outside world where she created what was essentially a clone of herself and sent her to where Lucca was able to find her. That is why she has the pendant, why she looks like Schala in the Time Devourer, and why Lucca said that she might meet up with Janus (or Magus) at some point in time.
The weak only strive to be weaker.

Just to add to what Anxiety1138 said, if you ever completed the PSX remake and got the good ening then you could see Lucca find Kid. In fact this video was partly created so that CT and CC could have a more physical tie.
and though I haven't played it I can't tell you much, but the ds remake connects to cc evan more.
