The truth be told Johnny Depp flatters to deceive as an actor, because he's not that great and often chooses his roles to hide his hammyness.

But I thought he did ok in this, but the strange thing was it kind of felt flat when he was in it and was much better before he turned up and after he disappeared.

I agree. He's always a crazy person, weird guy. But when he plays a normal person he seems odd. I

He was okay in this movie, but only because his appearance was short. I don't know... He wasn't memorable.
