IS IT ANTI-CATHOLIC? GOOD!

Religion is just so much baloney. Even though it would be impossible for a Catholic or Christian to look at their religion from a logical perspective, it might do them some good to try, anyway. It's 'fear' that keeps most from doing that. It's a circular fear that is used by the church to keep their congregations in-line.

It's hard to believe that in the 21st Century, thoughtful people will still devote their lives trying to get in to an afterlife that seems to be pure fantasy. Being asleep, going 'under' for surgery, should be enough to let us know that when this life is done with us, it's over, completely. And it's both silly and ridiculous to believe (think) that one's religion, out of all the religions throughout history, is the only correct one.

Watching religion, from a non-religious perspective such as mine, makes religion seem actually funny and incredibly bizarre. Millions of people wearing Jesus's murder weapon on chains around their necks, men (so many of them gay), on the pulpit dressed in what looks like Elvis's Las Vegas stage clothing, admonishing their flocks that the words in an ancient book, which is filled with contradictions and fantasy, is absolute truth.

Religion is big business, especially the Catholic church, which has land holdings that would make Alexander the Great jealous. In St. Peter's church, there's actually tons and tons of gold, doing absolutely nothing to help the needy.

So, next time you're in church, pretend that the priest or minister is no more than a teacher at a very expensive private school of mythology. For they are really nothing more than that when they stand there before you. And if you're brave, ask your priest what the church will be doing with all that gold, the hoards of money the church has but doesn't use, and all that elaborate artwork that could bring billions of dollars to help those that really need it.

And the worst thing, is that in order to keep their high jobs, these people influence our congressmen, our laws and our progressive society in conservative ways that may seem good for us, but lessen our ability to really help those that need our help. These so-called christians spend so much of their energy trying to keep those that need help, from getting that help. And look how stupid the conservative people in Kentucky are: they hate Obamacare and want to get rid of it. But their new healthcare program recently set up in Kentucky is loved and adored by the people of Kentucky. And what is that program? It's Obamacare, just renamed to probably fool the Kentuckians. Senator McConnell (and I use the word senator with a truck load of salt) says he wants to rid the nation of Obamacare, but he won't answer the questions put to him about getting rid of the state's healthcare program. He's a magician, just like the priests and ministers of this country. Keeping the religious in our nation from looking behind that curtain.
