Yahoo posted a video today of a toddler who just got an implant, and if you look at the comments, it does not seem like much has changed. Agree or disagree?

No, not much has changed...technology, yes. But people's attitudes, no. And I'm not talking about people with hearing loss. I'm talking about the ones that hear.
shareMy son is autistic, not deaf, but I do know some sign language from working with his preschool class, and if I had a deaf child, they'd have an implant if it was at all possible. Even the daughter and mom in the film eventually got them, as much as they were against them at the time.
