what's the word?

What is the word Beth uses right at the begining of the movie, like the second scene. Right after Edward leaves and Beth goes to the radio and says "Sorry Edward likes this masagenous? trash." What's the M word? I've been searching on the internet looking for its spelling and definition and can't seem to find it. My spelling's probably way off.
