Who was the girl that Jonathan and Dean flew out to see?

I just watched this movie again on cable. I'm confused as to who that woman was supposed to be that was in the house with the blonde guy. It wasn't Kate Beckinsale or Bridget Moynahan.

It was Caroline Sarah's friend

It was her sister she asks to house sit with her boyfriend at Lars's show

They flew out to find Sara after tracking down her address. They see a couple getting it on in the house, and think it's Sara, so they fly home. It was actually her sister and sister's boyfriend who were housesitting.

Thank you! I should have worded my question better. I knew who they were looking for, but I didn't realize it was Sara's sister they saw at the house. (I didn't remember that she had a sister). :)

Thanks for the reply.

Maybe I'm the only one, but it kind of bugged me that Jonathan didn't even bother to address that even though he very easily could have still believed that it really had been her in the window. He had flown from California back to NY in that amount of time, so who's to say that she hadn't done the same? And yeah, I'm sure they could have talked about that once the scene ended, but I was sitting there bothered by the fact that he had no explanation as to who he'd seen hooking up at her house.

He saw the woman in the window and did not know it wasn't Sara because he couldn't remember specifically what she looked like after several years. Now seeing her for sure at the ice rink he'd have no trouble realizing she was not the woman he saw in the window since seeing the sister just happened a few hours before. Different haircut, eyes, face.

I could be remembering the scene wrong, but I didn't get the impression that he was standing at that window for long enough to examine the woman's eyes or face. And was the haircut that drastically different from Sara's? Of course there are nuances that he could have picked up on if he got a good long look, but based on the scenario, I'm skeptical that he would have noted enough of those differences to be sure of them once he saw Sara face-to-face. I still think he would have had that scene in the back of his mind when she first showed up at the rink. That's just me.

Even if he couldnt see her face, the girl in the window (her sister...which even I would have thought it was her and I know exactly what Kate Becks looks like...ps I did KNOW it wasn't her) you could go by the hair. The sister's hair was shorter and straighter.

Honestly, I think you're reading way too much into it. Don't forget, they met up at the ice rink, kissed, and then instantly forwarded to a random anniversary - we don't know whether it was the 1st, 3rd, 5th or 10th.

You have to assume that somewhere in between that first kiss and the anniversary, they spoke about quite a bit and cleared up any potential misunderstandings.
