I liked it

I thought The Photographer was a very good film despite the bad reviews. The plot was interesting and the charachters were well developed. I would rather watch this film in lieu of a box office winner any day. Hollywood is so tangled up in overdone special effects and worthless remakes that they seldom have a good original story such as this one.

yeah me too, this was a great movie. Oh and about these types of movies vs. box office breaking movies, this is the modern verson of small theatre vs broadway; theres small theatre which puts on plays with morals or that question society and stuff like that, usually low cost theatre; then theres's broadway which is designed for entertainment, not to push meaningful themes and ideas, and is all high cost b/c the wealthier people buying these tickets wan't to be entertained, not made to question they're beliefs.

Anyway, thats my (irrelevant) two cents.

I love this movie! Was it supposed to be funny? Because I found myself laughing through most of it! IT was great, the story was awesome and the characters were very special! I loved it.

I understand this sort of film sometimes...This time I had to hang in there to see if this one would end in such a manner that I could state, "I liked it". It did. As I try to bring it in to the oft telescopic view of a film to compare it to, I would have to state (the Fisher King...if not that then One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest" sorta maybe.

It does not matter if I can not liken it to some film. Originals can stand alone just fine in my book. However I can not recall what Alice in Wonderland was to discover nor what Dorothy from the Wizard Of Oz was to. I can liken the main characters journey to theirs. Oh, one other film came to mind...Vanilla Sky.
