I loved Oceans 11 and enjoyed the others.
Why not do a prequel and show how Danny got into the bind that landed him in jail for 4 years.
It would be great if the prequel was not made by Sylvester Stallone.

If they can remake The Karate Kid, or greenlight a Honeymooners film, then ANYTHING is possible.
Plus, a prequel would be waaaay cooler than the above mentioned dreck.

Clooney couldn't really play him though bc at this point he's too old to play a younger version of himself 10 years ago. Idk if anyone else could do it or if there would even be enough tie in without the same A List actors the originals had.

Watch Out of Sight and in your mind change the main character's name to Danny Ocean. Then you have a prequel.

In 13, Danny and Rusty were talking about when they met Reuben.
I think a good movie would be to go back about twenty or so years and see when young Danny and Rusty met, and started to meet their usual gang of malcontents.
It would be fun to see them getting played and learning to be the player.
The beginning of cool.

Anything before that with him would be simply Danny Zero.
I would rather see this than the all female version they want to make. They can't even get eleven women.
